Our UGF product line goes through rigorous testing and certifications to ensure it is the safest in the industry along with meeting standards all over the world. Here are a few of those certifications we have proudly completed to date:

ROPS/FOPS Standards & Testing

Our engineers determine our testing and certification needs for each piece of underground equipment we build and can meet standards all across the world. We also perform contract testing. This third party certification helps you to manage product liability and gives you the peace of mind that your cabs and ROPS are safe and reliable. This testing is conducted in accordance with two standards:

• ISO 3471 = ROPS
• ISO 3449 = FOPS

Vale brake test

Brake Testing

The UG20M underground motor grader passed the Ontario, Canada underground brake requirements at the Vale Ramp in Sudbury, Ontario. The service brake and park brake safely stopped the UG20M on a 20% grade ramp in half the required distance. This testing is conducted in accordance with three standards:

• ISO 3450 (underground)
• CSA M424.3-M90 (underground)
• ABA (underground)

CANMET

The UG20M engine has been rigorously testing and is a CANMET certified diesel engine for use in underground mines and confined locations such as tunnels.
