Ground Force Manufacturing proudly announces the Grand Opening of its NEW state-of-the-art 85,000 square foot factory. This increase more than triples its production capacities in the Post Falls/Coeur d’Alene area, offering more jobs into the local community. The grand opening was well attending with many local dignitaries, special guests included Governor Butch Otter and Director of Commerce Jeff Sayer.
Ground Force has been blessed with business growth in many areas. In the last 3 years, it has increased our factory square footage from 55,000 to 240,000, and grown its skilled labor workforce by more than 300%. Ron Nilson President and CEO states, “We are the ONLY CAT original equipment manufacturer that offers the Total Package: aggressive sales & marketing, innovative engineering, worldwide production capabilities, after sales support and service and true CAT loyalty. I see this worldwide growth as a huge benefit to our local community.” Our expansion plans include continuing our engineering and hi-tech manufacturing in the U.S., providing our local partners with increased revenue and sharing in our success. Our factory in England (acquired in 2011) continues to thrive as we support them locally through our engineering department and sales force, traveling worldwide growing business. A Peru location is slated for 2013, giving our after sales support and field service a home base to better serve our Latin American customers.
Ground Force Worldwide is the parent company to Ground Force Manufacturing and Underground Force. Our new 85,000 sq ft building will be the house for Ground Force, continuing to provide mining support equipment for open pit mines across the world. We build the World’s Largest Fuel and Lube trucks, World’s Largest Water trucks, World’s Largest Cable Reel Trucks and currently are building the World’s Largest Fuel and Lube Skid. Our product line includes Rigid Frame, Articulated and Conventional – Fuel and Lube, Water and Cable Reel trucks, Stemming trucks, Mechanic/ Welder Service trucks, ANFO Trucks, and Fuel and Lube Skids. Underground Force will reside at our current 5650 E. Seltice Way, Post Falls factory and produce mine support equipment for the underground mining industry. Underground Mining is growing at a rate of 25%+ per year with an estimated 25,000 mines worldwide. Underground Force will offer the same quality products as Ground Force with an expanded product line including an underground motorgrader, personnel carriers, and other necessary underground mine support equipment. This line is already proving to be a success for Ground Force Worldwide and we are confident it will help take us further into the worldwide marketplace.
